I LISTENI CARE.

I was born and raised here. A lifetime of sport, work and service shaped who I am. I believe respectful leadership can help Powell River move forward together.

A different kind of strength

PEACE IS
NOT PASSIVE.

It takes discipline to listen, courage to disagree with respect, and patience to find a way forward.

I am running to help restore peace and harmony to civic life. That does not mean avoiding hard choices. It means making them openly, calmly and with the whole community in mind.

“I want people to know they were heard, even when we do not land in the same place.
The starting line

REAL NUMBERS.
HONEST CHOICES.

Good intentions need a grip on reality. These are some of the facts we will inherit as a community.

The game plan

FOCUS WHERE
COUNCIL CAN ACT.

I will ask three questions of every major decision: Does it solve a real problem? Can we afford it? Will it bring the community closer together?

01

A stronger financial footing

I will protect essential services, demand value from every tax dollar, and work to rebuild a broader commercial and industrial tax base.

  • Measure value before adding cost
  • Use city land and assets strategically
  • Publish the tradeoffs in plain language
02

A safe and caring community

I believe we must address addiction directly in our response to homelessness. Compassion must include a real path to recovery, alongside clear public standards we rigorously uphold. I will bring housing, health, outreach, bylaw and policing partners together to move that work forward.

  • Advocate for detox, treatment and abstinence
  • Support sober, recovery-focused housing
  • Set clear responsibilities and report results
03

Dignity for seniors

I will work to expand housing choice, accessibility and community connection so older residents can remain close to the people and place they know.

  • Advance partnerships on suitable city land
  • Support affordable and extended care options
  • Design services with seniors, not just for them
04

Recreation that connects us

I support a fair and financially clear path for pickleball, together with a long-range plan for recreation and culture.

05

A stronger ferry voice

I will work regionally and advocate consistently for reliable access, better contingency planning and service that reflects coastal life.

06

Government people can follow

I will explain choices, welcome respectful public participation and make it easier to see what council decided and why.

BUILT HERE.
TESTED HERE.

I learned teamwork on the ice, soccer pitch and ball diamonds.

From Special Olympics, Meals on Wheels and the Heart and Stroke Foundation to major sporting events and junior golf, I have kept saying yes when Powell River needed hands, patience and follow-through.
